Yelp Reviews Reviewed (Randi)

SliceTruck's review of Randi's review:

This review was written by Randi, who was mad about waiting in line and also mad that after waiting in line she could not get the slice of pizza she wanted without having to wait even longer. She ends up having a fabricated gross out that results in an internet tantrum. Mildly entertaining, I wouldn't pay to see this at the theatre but if you can catch it on TV sometime I'd recommend watching.

No Overhead

These things need to end:

Being told we operate with no overhead since its a truck.

-We always try and tell our employees along with our food distributors and suppliers, the truck finance company, Farmers Insurance, the L.A. health department, the gas stations and the state of California tax department that we sell pizza from a truck and therefore we operate with no overhead and this is the reason they can't get paid from us.

Dipping pizza in ranch dressing.

-Just don't eat pizza from terrible places. I love pizza but if I moved to a city/town with only bad pizza (which is a lot of places in the USA) and was not comfortable making great pizza at home, I would not order pizza ever. I'd just stop eating it. I wouldn't start pouring ranch dressing all over it to make up for something.

The saying, "bad pizza is like bad sex, its still pretty good"

-If God told me that every time I had pizza or sex for the rest of my life it was going to be bad, then based on past experiences, I'm quite sure that sooner than later I wouldn't be having either.

True Blood on HBO

-What is this shit?

Entourage on HBO

-This is shit.

Acting/Pretending like circumcision is exclusively a Jewish thing.

-Turns out everyone is Jewish. Or just men and their families.

Daylight savings time

-The part where it gets dark early and then we make it get dark even earlier by moving our clocks back an hour.

What else? War, hunger, poverty, the spread of AIDS? Sure, once we take care of the stuff already on the list.

USC Fall Semester is Live

...and we're back to school. T-Shirt roulette is live and thriving. Here are some winners from the first day of classes yesterday.
Clockwise from upper left: PolySci majors Mark and Brian, Design majors Thomas, Richard and Harold, Film Student Ian, Theatre majors T-Boz, Left Eye and Chili, and communications major Susanne.
Rules to T-Shirt Roulette. Follow SliceTruck on Facebook. We will put up passwords from time to time and the first person to come to the truck and buy a slice and say the password gets a SliceTruck T-Shirt as a prize.

P.S. You must want the pizza more than the shirt otherwise you are not invited to play or be our friend.

August and Everything After

Here's our/the SliceTruck event schedule/calendar. This isn't everything but its what I see now. And its actually just August and nothing after. If you were serious about our schedule you'd keep track of it on your own at home using phone calls and fb and twit and report on it with a blog and phone calls to your friends. No one cares to do big reports on other peoples schedules these days with the sensory overload and the immediate gratification culture. If everyone could just make one phone call to a friend telling them about our pizza and our schedule today I would really appreciate that.

August Schedule:

One Furry Vest Short of Really Getting Involved

Hola, amigos. What's the haps on the craps? I know it's been a long time since I rapped at ya, but I been busy getting rich off the meltdown if you can hear that.

I saw some things this weekend while SliceTruck was at the Hard Summer Music Festival and thought I'd share my findings with those of you who wonder about what they're missing. It was a dj/rave/electronic music fest that started at noon and ended at midnight and I found out that I thought I knew but really I didn't know. Until now.

Dead Man 5?

-Thanks for the photos Amy.

Don't forget, Raves and SliceTruck go together like Movies and Sour Patch Kids.

Hide your husband...

...because they're raping everybody.
