Even though SliceTruck didn't exist when this song was written it has been documented that in 1976 Bob Seger believed he had visited the future in a very realistic dream where he felt as he'd been sleeping for weeks. While most details of the future were quite blurry he clearly recalled eating the most delicious pizza from a truck every day while there. When he awoke, returning to the present day, he immediately picked up a pencil and wrote the lyrics to "Hollywood Nights" in a matter of minutes.
